Liverpool ran out comfortable 3-1 winners this afternoon as they saw off Wolves on their return to Premier League action.
The Reds came from behind to storm back in the second half of the game, as Mo Salah notched a couple of assists to get Jurgen Klopp’s side into the game.
And while Salah was the man getting headlines again, new signing Dominik Szoboszlai was once again in fine fettle.
Pundit praises Dominik Szobosozlai for Liverpool impact
Hungarian midfielder Szoboszlai has settled in immediately to life at Anfield.

And speaking for Stadium Astro ahead of today’s game with Wolves, former Arsenal forward Alan Smith was full of praise for the midfielder, who then went on to show his class at Molineux.
MORE LIVERPOOL STORIES
“He’s settled so quickly, which is really impressive with all the challenges involved in coming to a new country and of course, the standard of football, which is so much higher. But he’s taken to it like a duck to water,” Smith said.
“He wants the ball all the time. He likes to take responsibility. He’s got power, he’s got skill, he’s the modern day footballer, he really is. I think he’s a fantastic signing and the Liverpool fans have already taken him on as one of their favourites. That confidence, he knows he’s a good player and he wants to make things happen for his team.”
Szoboszlai has quickly took over as being one of the first names on the teamsheet in midfield. And with the players the Reds lost in the summer, it’s a huge bonus to see him settle so quickly.
RTK’s View: Big impact
The assessment from Smith here is spot on. Dominik Szoboszlai already looks the business just a handful of games into the season and the £60m price tag looks a bargain already.
Szoboszlai struggled in the first half today at Wolves like everyone else did. But in the end, he worked his way into the game and showed moments of real quality.
If he can continue to get even better and show more of what he’s shown already, then the Reds are onto a real winner with their new summer signing.
