Liverpool ended up running out comfortable winners when they beat Wolves at Molineux today after doing behind.

The Reds produced a fine second half performance as a hat-trick of assists for Mo Salah ensured the perfect comeback win for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Andy Robertson got the second and crucial Liverpool goal thanks to Salah, and the onlooking Andy Townsend was quick to point out the quality of Salah’s pass.

Salah was actually quite quiet in the main in the game. However, he showed his class in getting three assists and producing the goods when it mattered.

And watching on for Premier League productions, former Premier League midfielder Townsend was quick to praise Salah for his ability.

“It’s a lovely goal, it’s a brilliant slot. Fabulous delivery from Mo Salah, and Andy Robertson – right at the crucial moment – stepping into that six-yard area and cooly slotting that on the left foot past Jose Sa to give Liverpool the lead. And they’ve turned it around again,” Townsend said.

Salah has once again been in fine form for Liverpool already this season. And after fighting off Saudi interest in the summer, it’s clearer than ever that it was crucial they did just that.

RTK’s View: World class in big moments

While Salah might not have scored any goals today, there is an element of class about him when it comes to keeping composure in big moments.

Salah did that for the goals today. Other players might have panicked but not Salah, who simply laid things on a plate for three different teammates.

Liverpool are looking the business right now and with Salah producing like this even on his quiet days, they could well end up having a superb season.
