Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has been speaking ahead of this weekend’s return to Premier League action.
The Portuguese star has started the season well. He is part of a slick looking attack at the moment that’s been backed by a whole new Liverpool midfield.
Of course, one player who will be part of that new midfield in the coming weeks is Ryan Gravenberch and speaking about the Dutchman, Jota seems impressed already.

Chatting about Gravenberch to Liverpool’s official website, Jota admitted that he’s happy to see the midfielder arrive, with the qualities he has already obvious.
“I think great. Obviously he has two very close friends, the Dutch players, and they are three now, so they can help each other,” Jota said.
“Obviously I’ve not been in and just had a couple of sessions with him, but you can see already the quality he brings [and] has on his feet. I think he will be one more to help us going forward.”

Gravenberch could have a job forcing himself in the current midfield which has started the season well.
However, the Dutchman will get plenty of minutes, with Jurgen Klopp never afraid to rotate and change things through the course of a season.

We all loved the late signing of Ryan Gravenberch on deadline day and it seems like he’s already impressing at the club as well.
For Jota to speak so highly of him after such a short time shows that the Liverpool players are happy with the signing.
Gravenberch is in line for a big season in a Reds shirt. He’ll get loads of chances to play and there’s a real chance for him to make a big impression this term.
Seemingly cast aside by Bayern Munich, there should be a fire in the belly of Gravenberch now and that can only benefit Liverpool this season and beyond.
