Liverpool could reportedly find themselves linked with a move for Kylian Mbappe, with the forward expected to leave PSG next summer.
According to journalist Graeme Bailey, the Reds are one club who could be rumoured with a move for the 24-year-old, with Manchester City another team that might be linked with the French superstar.
With Real Madrid the favourites, though, it’s unlikely that links to Mbappe will go any further than just media speculation, even with Liverpool a club that the PSG forward is known to like.

Hailed by Virgil van Dijk as a ‘world-class’ player, Mbappe could be a dream signing for Liverpool if Mohamed Salah was to leave for Saudi Arabia.
And Liverpool have been braced for links to the striker, with Bailey saying about Mbappe: “As it stands, he will go on a free transfer next summer.

“We will see plenty of links to him, we will see Liverpool linked, we will see City linked, but do any of us believe he will go anywhere other than Real Madrid? It’s hard to imagine him anywhere else isn’t it really?”
Liverpool links to Mbappe are already boring enough

Eat, sleep, Liverpool get linked with Mbappe, repeat. With the summer window over, the whole process starting again is enough to send any Reds supporter over the edge.
As Bailey himself states, we all know that Mbappe will end up at Madrid next summer, with a move seemingly all-but agreed between the two parties.
And for Liverpool, this means that any links to Mbappe just feel like a waste of time, with the forward nailed on to move to Spain in 2024.
