Former Liverpool goalkeeper Adam Bogdan has named Alisson Becker as a ‘perfect’ shot-stopper and one of the best in the world.
Speaking on the Kopite Podcast, the ex-Hungarian international praised the current Liverpool no. 1, who to many is regarded as the best in the Premier League and Liverpool’s most important player.
Alisson was last season the Reds’ best player as the Anfield side finished fifth, with the 30-year-old already pulling off some incredible performances this campaign for Liverpool.

Indeed, Alisson has been one of Liverpool’s most consistent players since joining the club, and Bogdan’s praise for the keeper could not be more on the nose.
Bogdan said about Alisson: “You see, it’s hard for me because I haven’t trained with him, but, for me, he seems to be more like a supernatural goalkeeper.

“He has an unbelievable talent, ability-wise when he has to. He must be close to 100kgs, but he has the legs for it, he has so much power, he’s so brave, his positioning is excellent, he’s the perfect goalie for me.”
Alisson will be key for Liverpool returning to their best this season

We might only be four games into the new Premier League season, but it’s safe to assume that Liverpool would not be where they are now had it not been for Alisson.
The Brazilian pulled off a save-of-the-season contender in Liverpool’s dramatic 2-1 win against Newcastle United, and performances like that will go far in the Reds returning to their best.
If Alisson can stay fit, there’s no reason why the Anfield side can’t go all the way this season, with the Brazilian as good as he has ever been for Liverpool.
