Pundit Archie Rhind-Tutt has detailed what could convince Jurgen Klopp to quit Liverpool to take up the vacant Germany managerial role.
Speaking on ESPN, the German football expert revealed that the prospect of being the face of German football for a home tournament could be too good a prospect for Klopp to reject.
The DFB sacked Hansi Flick on Sunday after a 4-1 friendly loss to Japan, with the search now on for a coach who can take Germany to success in next year’s Euro 2024.

And to the surprise of nobody, Klopp’s name has come up, with the Liverpool manager a favourite in the eyes of the public to take the position despite the unlikelihood of such an appointment.
Yet Rhind-Tutt has another idea, with the pundit saying: “I think the dream scenario for them would be Jurgen Klopp. But I think that’s a little bit out of reach. I wonder if it would tempt him potentially.

“Being the face or one of the faces of a home European tournament is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, let alone as a coach. That’s why I think it maybe tickles the fancy of Jurgen Klopp maybe later down the line in the season if they can’t find the big solution now.”
Klopp taking Germany job now would be disrespectful to Liverpool

The odds of Klopp actually taking the Germany job seem close to impossible, yet should an outcome actually happen, it would be disrespectful towards Liverpool.
The Reds have proven to be Klopp’s home since 2015 with the German building the club into his image and into one of the best in all of Europe.
And to throw all that progress away for a shot at international glory would be viewed by many as a waste, especially with more suitable figures out there to take the Germany job.
