Cody Gakpo was seemingly pleased with Dominik Szoboszlai’s international performance for Hungary last night against the Czech Republic.

The Dutch forward posted a heart emoji under the 22-year-old’s Instagram post as Szoboszlai captained the Magyars to a 1-1 draw in their friendly in Budapest last night.

Gakpo himself enjoyed a more successful night than his Liverpool teammate, with the winger scoring from the spot as the Netherlands came from behind to beat the Republic of Ireland 2-1.

With the international break now close to ending, Szoboszlai will soon return to Liverpool having impressed for Hungary across his two fixtures against Serbia and now the Czech Republic.

Indeed, Szoboszlai has been Liverpool’s most impressive player this season, and the midfielder will be raring to go once again when the youngster returns to Anfield later this week.

Szoboszlai has looked like a coup for Liverpool this summer at ÂŁ60m, and the playmaker only looks to be getting by the week with each performance for club or country.

And fans will no doubt be excited to have the midfielder back this week ahead of Liverpool’s Premier League clash against Wolves, where Szoboszlai could once again have a field day.

The former RB Leipzig man has been a sensation for Liverpool, and after a good international break, Szoboszlai will be eager to get back to work in England with Jurgen Klopp’s side.
