Liverpool are tracking the progress of young Club Brugge winger Antonio Nusa.
Nusa had a breakout season in 2022/23, cementing himself in the Brugge senior team. After playing 30 times in all competitions, he made his Norway national team debut, scoring in his only appearance so far.
According to 90min, this has led to considerable interest in the 18-year-old. Chelsea – inevitably – were said to be the most interested, and had a £25.7m bid turned down right at the end of August.

This reportedly hasn’t deterred the Blues though, who are supposedly continuing to scout Nusa.
However, 90min report that they do now face competition for the youngster’s signature. That comes in the form of interest from Liverpool, Arsenal and Newcastle who are all claimed to have been scouting Nusa in recent weeks.
A clutch of sides from across Europe are also said to have been alerted to the Norwegian’s potential.
All of Ajax, Borussia Dortmund, Lyon and Monaco have reportedly already ‘expressed an interest’ in signing Nusa.
Liverpool hot on Nusa trail
Having started just five of 26 appearances in the Belgian league last season, Nusa has kicked things up a notch already this season.
Five games into the campaign, the teenager has started three, come on in a further one and registered a goal and an assist.
Not bad for a player who only turned 18 in April.

In that respect, it’s no surprise to hear that Liverpool are keeping a close eye on him. The Reds aren’t currently in the market for a forward immediately, but they’ll need to plan for the next generation before you know it.
As a result, it’s wise to keep tabs on who’s impressing out and about in Europe.
With sides like Chelsea hoovering up plenty of young talent both in Europe and in South America particularly, Liverpool have to keep their finger on the pulse.
With that in mind, it’s encouraging to hear that Nusa has already turned down a move to Chelsea. The Blues are stock-piling players who will more than likely never play for them. It’s nice to know some young prospects have a bit more about them than to accept the riches on offer at Stamford Bridge. Remember the name.
