Jurgen Klopp has made the decision to start Mohamed Salah in Liverpool’s massive Premeir League clash against Aston Villa.

The Reds announced on their official Twitter account their starting XI to face Unai Emery’s side, with Salah getting the nod despite a £150m bid from Saudi Arabia on deadline day.

With a second bid expected, there had been rumours and whispers that Salah might be dropped for today’s clash against Villa, though Klopp has made the decision to start the winger.

Away from Salah, Darwin Nunez makes his first Premier League start of the season after last weekend’s heroics against Newcastle United, where the striker bagged a brace.

The other major changes to the starting XI include Curtis Jones coming in for new signing Wataru Endo as Joel Matip and Joe Gomez form the central defensive partnership, with Virgil van Dijk suspended and Ibrahima Konate injured.

With Ryan Gravenberch unavailable, Klopp has made some bold calls ahead of Liverpool’s clash against Villa, where another three points will be huge in Anfield side’s long journey to qualify for a UEFA Champions League spot.
