Former Everton star Leon Osman has applauded Liverpool’s approach to sign Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton & Hove Albion this summer.
Speaking on Premier League Productions, the pundit named the Argentine’s move to Anfield as the most underrated deal of the summer, with Liverpool landing Mac Allister for just £35m.
Whilst the midfielder’s most notable move for Liverpool so far this season has been getting sent off in the Reds’ 3-1 win against AFC Bournemouth, early performances have been encouraging.

With Liverpool overhauling the entire midfield this summer, it will take some time before the likes of Mac Allister are fully used to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool system.
Yet early signs have been good, and Osman is impressed with what he has seen from Mac Allister. The pundit said: “I’m actually going for Alexis Mac Allister.

Mac Allister’s start to life with Liverpool has been interesting. Yet with the 24-year-old midfielder one of the best in his position in the Premier League, signs are there that the Argentine can become a star.
