Paul Merson has said Dominik Szoboszlai has potentially been the signing of the summer, with the Liverpool star impressing since moving to Anfield.
Speaking on Sky Sports News, the former Arsenal star revealed that he has been pleased with what he has seen from Szoboszlai, with Merson clearly a big fan of the Hungarian international.
Merson said: “I don’t know too much of him [Gravenberch]. But the lad who has come in from Leipzig I’ve been so impressed with.
“He has been outstanding. At the moment I would say he’s been the best buy out of everybody at the minute.”

Szoboszlai has only been a Liverpool player for a few weeks, yet early signs have been very promising from the former RB Leipzig playmaker.
The versatile winger has flourished in a central midfield role alongside Alexis Mac Allister, and Szoboszlai will only get better with more training under Jurgen Klopp and more minutes in Liverpool’s system.
Indeed, Szoboszlai made a brave move in taking the iconic no. 8 shirt this summer, yet the youngster has filled the kit well, with more big performances on the horizon for the Hungarian.
