Al-Ittihad are reportedly preparing a second bid for Mohamed Salah having had one rejected earlier today for the Liverpool star.

According to the Liverpool Echo’s Ian Doyle, the Saudi Arabia side are preparing an astonishing £200m bid to sign the 31-year-old, with Al-Ittihad knocked back earlier today with a £150m offer.

Salah has been linked with a move to the Middle East all summer, and Al-Ittihad are now making a huge play for the Liverpool star on the final day of the English transfer window.

With the window shutting in six hours, Liverpool have next-to-no time to find a replacement for Salah, with Al-Ittihad doing all they can to make the Anfield side sweat over their star player.

£200m is a club-changing amount of money for Liverpool, with such funds for Salah something that could help Jurgen Klopp rebuild his squad completely for years to come.

However, the Reds simply can’t allow Salah to leave, with the winger too important a player for the Anfield side to let go at this stage of the window.

As a result, Liverpool must resist the urge to sell Salah to Al-Ittihad, with the winger one of the club’s most crucial players.
