Liverpool have reportedly made enquiries for FC Barcelona duo Ansu Fati and Abde Ezzalzouli, with the pair eyed as potential replacements for Mohamed Salah.
According to Sport, the Reds have made approaches for the attacking duo in the event that Salah leaves Liverpool, with the winger strongly linked with a move to Saudi Arabia.
Fati and Ezzalzouli have both been subject to strong interest this summer, with the former heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, particularly Chelsea and Tottenham.

And Liverpool have now entered the picture for the pair, with Barcelona likely to entertain offers for Fati and Ezzalzouli given their disastrous financial situation.
Indeed, Salah’s potential move to Saudi Arabia could give Liverpool the finances needed to move for the pair, though like with any attacker, neither will be able to replicate the 31-year-old’s impact for the Reds.

As a result, Liverpool might be better off waiting for the dream target to appear on their radar, though Fati could be an ideal signing given his incredible qualities and attacker versatility.
Liverpool should move for Fati if Salah does leave

Many fans and experts still aren’t sold on Salah leaving for Saudi Arabia this window, yet should the transfer happen, Fati is who Liverpool should be targeting.
Whilst more naturally a left-sided forward, the winger remains one of the best prospects in Europe and a talent who Jurgen Klopp could get the best out of at Liverpool.
And with Fati likely open on a move to Anfield, the forward could take his game to a new level if the Reds were to sign the youngster, with Salah’s shoes potentially waiting to be filled.
