Jurgen Klopp could reportedly be left furious if Mohamed Salah is allowed to leave Liverpool this week.
According to the Daily Mail’s Lewis Steele, the Reds manager is completely against the 31-year-old winger leaving, with Saudi Arabian interest spiking for Salah ahead of deadline day.
Al-Ittihad have been strongly interested in signing Salah, with reports suggesting that a mammoth offer could be in the pipeline to pry the winger away from Anfield.
And should a deal happen, Klopp will be left fuming, with the Reds essentially having no time to find a suitable replacement for Salah this week.
Steele said: “Jurgen Klopp did laugh off suggestions but it would not take a genius to decipher that the manager is privately worried about the Saudis. What Premier League manager wouldn’t be worried?
“Klopp has more control at Liverpool than ever before and that should be noted in this transfer saga. He would be furious at the club and player if Salah was to leave this late into a window.”

Klopp might have some say in transfers, but should a convincing offer come in for Salah this week, there’s no telling how Liverpool’s higher-ups will respond to the deal.
In a perfect world, any offer for Salah is swiftly rejected. Yet with Saudi Arabia throwing around as much money as possible, there’s every chance that a big enough bid could be enough for Liverpool to do the unthinkable.
Indeed, the pressure will be on for Liverpool’s backroom staff to reject any and all bids for Salah, and Klopp’s input should be crucial if an offer is made.
