Ryan Gravenberch reportedly wants a move to the Premier League, with Liverpool or Manchester United the two sides the midfielder is keen on.

According to the Daily Mail, the Bayern Munich talent either wants to move to Anfield or Old Trafford before Friday’s transfer deadline, with both clubs chasing Gravenberch this month.

Liverpool’s interest in the 21-year-old has been well documented, though the message all summer has been that Bayern don’t want to let the £43m-rated midfielder leave.

However, with deadline day approaching, this stance could change very quickly, with Gravenberch himself now angling for a move to either Liverpool or United.

Indeed, the Reds might feel confident in their own abilities to sign Gravenberch, but the Erik Ten Hag factor at United could make things complicated.

As a result, Liverpool have to push harder than they ever have for Gravenberch in the coming days, with the midfielder too good a prospect to slip through their fingers.

Liverpool have already beaten United once in the transfer market this year in the form of Cody Gakpo, and the Reds could repeat this feat with Gravenberch later this week.

The Dutch international is exactly the sort of midfielder Liverpool should be looking at, and with Gravenberch now keen on a move, it’s up to the Anfield side to break Bayern’s resolve.

With time running out, the Bavarian side could be open to offloading Gravenberch if Liverpool were to make a bid, with the midfielder likely to push for a switch.
