Liverpool are reportedly still keeping tabs on Ryan Gravenberch, with a move for the midfielder potentially going all the way to deadline day.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, the Bayern Munich talent could still leave the club despite the German side being resilient in keeping hold of the youngster.

The Dutch international has been linked with Liverpool all summer, and with the window ending this week, the time is now for Bayern to make a decision on Gravenberch.

And the midfielder could leave, with Jacobs saying about Liverpool’s interest in Gravenberch: “I’m still told Gravenberch at Bayern is a possibility for both Liverpool and Manchester United.

“We have to wait and see what the Bayern stance is, but the player would be open to a Liverpool move and is a long-standing target, because Liverpool were looking at him before he made the move to Bayern.

“Even though Tuchel has calmed things a bit with the player, the leftover situation from Nagelsmann is still there and I think as a consequence, Gravenberch hasn’t fully settled. So that one could be a possibility in the final days of the window.”

Praised by Fabrizio Romano as a ‘perfect’ signing for Liverpool, the Reds are running out of time fast to make a legitimate move for Gravenberch.

Much like most of Liverpool’s business this summer, the Reds would have been wise to move for Gravenberch earlier in the window rather than waiting until the final days of the market.

However, this is the situation Liverpool now find themselves in, with Gravenberch a player the Reds simply have to move for before the window closes on Friday night.
