Reported Liverpool target Piero Hincapie is not for sale at any price this summer.
Hincapie has been strongly linked with a move to Anfield over the past few days, with the 21-year-old said to be very keen to join.
But according to Sky Germany reported Florian Plettenberg, there’s virtually no chance of Hincapie leaving Bayer Leverkusen.
“Piero Hincapie is NOT for sale this window!” Plettenberg says.
“Bayer 04 definitely wants to keep him. Key player for Xabi Alonso. Understand there is NO price tag for Liverpool.”

Hincapie not for sale
This seems to be quite steady line coming out of Germany on Hincapie. Other reports have suggested that Leverkusen may sell, but only for a mammoth fee of £60m or so.
Meanwhile, British journalist Ben Jacobs has taken a different view.
He’s claimed that Hincapie could in fact be available for just £35m in the final week of the transfer window.
Should such an offer be presented to Leverkusen, Jacobs says that the Ecuadorian centre-back would actually push to leave the club, with Liverpool in particular of interest to him.
But Plettenberg’s information seems to be in direct response to those claims. From Hincapie’s club’s point of view, he’s not going anywhere.
With less than six days now left in which to do business, it remains to be see whether this will be enough to deter Liverpool.
Certainly, sporting director Jorg Schmadtke is said to be well aware of Leverkusen’s conditions over Hincapie. Either the centre-back pulls back on his desire to leave, or his club change their stance. Something has to give.
