Bayern Munich players have reportedly been impressed by Ryan Gravenberch in training, amid rumours that Liverpool are in talks to sign the midfielder.

According to the Athletic, the Dutch international’s teammates have been pleased with how the 21-year-old has conducted himself in training, with Gravenberch linked with a move away from Bayern.

Liverpool have this week been in talks with the German giants over signing Gravenberch, with the midfielder believed to be keen on a move having not played one professional minute all season.

Gravenberch’s future at Bayern has never looked more certain to be away from the Allianz Arena, and Liverpool could be the side who ends up signing the former Ajax star.

However, Bayern players being impressed by Gravenberch could add a new layer of complexity to the story, with Liverpool potentially not as close to signing the midfielder as many first thought.

Indeed, the Reds are yet to reach an agreement with Bayern for Gravenberch, and the midfielder impressing in training could change Thomas Tuchel’s opinion on letting the youngster go.

Impressive performances in training are the bedrock for any manager to select their starting XI on the weekend, and Gravenberch’s displays could now lead to Liverpool missing out on the midfielder.

The Dutch international is seemingly in good spirits at Bayern despite rumours that the youngster wants to leave, and Tuchel could be convinced to bring Gravenberch back into the fold this weekend.

As a result, Liverpool might now miss out on Gravenberch, who could have his head turned into staying at Bayern if an opportunity is there to play for the Bundesliga side.
