Garth Crooks has praised Dominik Szoboszlai’s performance for Liverpool against AFC Bournemouth, with the 22-year-old running the show in midfield.
Writing for BBC Sport, the pundit hailed the Hungarian international as Szoboszlai impressed in Liverpool’s 3-1 win against the Cherries.
The former RB Leipzig star has settled in nicely at Anfield with Szoboszlai taking up a new role in central midfield alongside fellow summer signing Alexis Mac Allister.

With the Argentinian being sent off against Bournemouth, though, the majority of the creative workload was placed on Szoboszlai’s shoulders, though the youngster took on the task and then some.
The versatile talent was arguably Liverpool’s best player against Bournemouth, and Crooks was impressed with what he saw from Jurgen Klopp’s newest addition on Saturday.

The pundit said: “He can certainly play. Liverpool’s new signing Szoboszlai showed all the touches of a good player against Bournemouth and looks like he wants to be constantly involved in the play.”
