Ryan Gravenberch has reportedly told Bayern Munich he wants to leave, with Liverpool in talks over a deal for the midfielder.

90min claim that the Dutch youngster has made it aware to the Bundesliga giants that he wants to leave for regular football, with Liverpool believed to be in discussions with Bayern for Gravenberch.

Lauded by Fabrizio Romano as a ‘perfect’ signing for Liverpool, the midfielder is inching ever closer to leaving Bayern having yet to play for Thomas Tuchel’s side in the new season.

And Liverpool could be the favourites for the youngster, with the Reds in talks for Gravenberch as Jurgen Klopp looks to make one more midfield signing this window.

Indeed, Gravenberch has arguably lost a year of his career at Bayern having spent most of last season sat on the bench, which is why a move to Liverpool could now be possible.

With Manchester United also interested, a transfer battle could soon ignite between the Red Devils and Liverpool for Gravenberch, who might prefer a move to Anfield than Old Trafford.

Gravenberch to Liverpool have been in the pipeline for some time, and with the midfielder now asking to leave Bayern, the Reds must do all they can to convince the youngster to move to Merseyside.

Whilst a reunion with Erik Ten Hag in Manchester will be alluring, Liverpool are aware that they can offer Gravenberch a platform to become his best self under Klopp.

Moreover, Gravenberch will likely play more minutes at Liverpool given their participation in the UEFA Europa League, a competition that could see the Dutchman return to his best.
