Liverpool are reportedly progressing in talks to sign Ryan Gravenberch, with the Bayern Munich star keen on a move to Anfield.
According to the Daily Mail, the Reds continue to discuss with the Bundesliga giants over a potential deal for Gravenberch, who is looking more likely to leave Bayern than ever before this summer.
The midfielder was an unused substitute in the German side’s two opening games of the season, and Liverpool are now working on a deal to bring Gravenberch to Merseyside.

Once labelled by Goal as a ‘special’ talent, Gravenberch has been identified by Liverpool as a multi-functional midfielder who can operate in numerous roles under Jurgen Klopp.
And this update is a big step in the right direction for Liverpool, who could do with a player of Gravenberch’s age and potential in the midfield this season.

Indeed, Bayern’s reluctance to sell Gravenberch is an issue, though. But with ten days until the window shuts, Liverpool have the funds and the reputation to make a breakthrough for the 21-year-old.
Liverpool have to do all they can to sign Gravenberch

Gravenberch is clearly ready to leave Bayern, with Liverpool a club that is of interest to the Dutch international, and a move has to be completed sooner rather than later.
The 21-year-old would be an outstanding long-term addition to Liverpool’s ranks for the years to come, and Gravenberch’s eagerness to leaver Bayern should help accelerate a deal.
With talks progressing, a breakthrough could soon be made, with Liverpool well aware that the sooner the midfielder is signed the better their options look for this weekend’s clash against Newcastle United.
