And Liverpool now looks set to be that club, with the Anfield side intensifying their interest in Gravenberch in recent days to complete their midfield overhaul.

Having signed Wataru Endo from VfB Stuttgart, Gravenberch is seemingly next on the agenda as an all-action midfielder for Liverpool as well as a versatile option in the squad.

Indeed, all the wheels seem to be turning in the right direction for Liverpool to sign Gravenberch, and now it’s up to the Reds to agree a deal with Bayern for the 21-year-old.

Gravenberch’s wishes this summer seem to be an exit from Bayern, and as a result, Liverpool should now be in a position to strike an agreement with the German giants for the midfielder.

Thomas Tuchel will not want to keep an unhappy player around despite wanting Gravenberch to stay for the season, and Bayern might be willing to do business with Liverpool.

With the Reds a club Gravenberch is clearly keen on joining reach an agreement of some kind with Bayern might be a cake walk, though Liverpool fans will want the deal done soon.
