Having missed most of last season through injury, Diaz is now fit and firing, with the forward set to play a key role for Liverpool having impressed against Chelsea and now AFC Bournemouth.

The 26-year-old is on a mission to make the left-wing position is own, and Diaz’s performances for Liverpool this season so far show a player who is willing to push himself to the limits.

Indeed, Diaz has the potential to become a world-class player in Liverpool’s attacking ranks, and the forward’s display aginst the Cherries was another sign of what is to come this season.

Early-season hype can sometimes get to supporters, but it’s now quite easy to say that Diaz is currently the most dangerous player Jurgen Klopp currently has in his squad.

The former FC Porto star has been electric in the opening two games of the Premier League season, and Diaz already looks like he can get better as the weeks progress.

With two goals already under his belt, Diaz will want to improve more and make up for lost time, with the winger’s absence a key reason Liverpool struggled as much as they did last season.
