Danny Murphy has admitted that he can’t wait to watch Dominik Szoboszlai again for Liverpool after the youngster ran the show against AFC Bournemouth.
Speaking on Match of the Day, the pundit was speechless by the Hungarian’s performance for the Reds, with Murphy labelling Szoboszlai as a ‘game-changer’ for Liverpool.
Murphy said about Szoboszlai: “He was sensational today, and Liverpool fans are excited. I’m excited. Anybody who follows Liverpool knows this is what they needed.”
Despite not scoring or assisting, Szoboszlai’s underlying numbers were something to behold, with the 22-year-old making the most successful passes and completing the most dribbles out of any player.
With Szoboszlai also making the most progressive carriers and covering the most distance, Liverpool have something of a revelation on their hands in the former RB Leipzig star.

And it’s no wonder why the likes of Murphy are excited already to watch Szoboszlai again, with the midfielder a joy on the eye and a player who can become a hero at Anfield.

Signs might be early, but Szoboszlai seemingly has all the makings of becoming a world-class player at Liverpool, with the playmaker winning top praise from the Premier League’s biggest pundits.
Few didn’t know what to expect from Szoboszlai, particularly in a central midfield role, yet the decision has so far proven to be quite the hit for Liverpool.
With more time and more minutes in the Premier League, there’s no telling how good Szoboszlai can become, especially once the midfield system is finally sorted.
