Jurgen Klopp has reportedly convinced Sofyan Amrabat to join Liverpool despite the midfielder being linked to Manchester United.
According to Corriere dello Sport via La Baro Viola, the German manager has been in talks with the Morocco international over a move to Anfield, with Amrabat now on board.
Valued at €30m (£25m), a fee still needs to be agreed with ACF Fiorentina if Liverpool are to win the midfielder’s signature, though this update feels significant for the Reds.

As per the report, Erik Ten Hag’s United have chased Amrabat for most of the window. However, the 26-year-old is now ready to join Liverpool after recent talks with Klopp.
Whilst the issue of paying the transfer fee is still up in the air, it is now looking likely that Amrabat will head to Liverpool having snubbed United after discussions with the Anfield boss.

Indeed, Amrabat is one of the most underrated midfielders in Europe and is a defensive-minded player who would be perfect for Liverpool, with the Moroccan now keen on moving to Merseyside.
Liverpool have pulled a blinder in convincing Amrabat to join

With Waratu Endo set to join Liverpool, the Reds have seemingly completed their midfield overhaul with Amrabat now having his head turned to join the Anfield side this summer.
Replacing Jordan Henderson and Fabinho was a task no Liverpool fan expected the club to take on this window, yet in Endo and now Amrabat, the Reds have filled the voids left quite well.
Whilst Liverpool still need to match Fiorentina’s asking price, £25m is quite a reasonable fee for a player as good as Amrabat, who could flourish in the Premier League under Klopp.
