Ben Doak has reportedly been subject to loan proposals from Championship and Scottish clubs, with Liverpool keen on keeping hold of the teenager this summer.

According to the Athletic, the Scottish youth international has been approached by numerous British sides over a potential loan move having impressed in pre-season and this weekend in the Premier League for Liverpool.

Doak made a second-half cameo for the Reds in their 1-1 draw against Chelsea as the former Celtic wonderkid caught the eye of many against the likes of Levi Colwill.

As a result, interest is now high in Doak, though Liverpool have no intention of letting the winger leave on loan amid growing rumours that the youngster will play a part in Jurgen Klopp’s senior plans.

Rated by Liverpool staff to become a ‘special’ player, Doak is easily the most exciting prospect currently playing for the Anfield giants, and the winger’s appearance against Chelsea showed how highly-rated the teenager is.

Whilst a loan spell could work wonders for Doak in his development, Liverpool’s belief in the youngster means the attacker could become a regular for the Reds this season, with opportunities aplenty.
