Jurgen Klopp has highlighted Dominik Szoboszlai’s shooting, with the new Liverpool midfielder already impressing the German manager.

Speaking to BBC Sport, the Premier League boss revealed that he has been greatly impressed by Szoboszlai’s ability to strike a ball, with the Hungarian causing Chelsea problems over the weekend.

Klopp said about Szoboszlai: “His biggest strength is shooting. There was one which got blocked. We didn’t see that yet because other teams know that as well and try to put everything in there.”

Szoboszlai arrived at Liverpool this summer with an incredible reputation for shooting, with the 22-year-old’s showreel of goals one of the best for a player of his age.

Although Liverpool fans are yet to see Szoboszlai’s shooting range just yet, there’s a good chance that the Hungarian international will put up a contender for goal of the season later in the campaign.

Indeed, Szoboszlai’s ability to score goals will make the playmaker a feared asset for Liverpool, especially if Klopp can get the youngster to work in a midfield-three alongside Alexis Mac Allister and a new defensive midfielder.

Szoboszlai has the potential to become one of Liverpool’s best players in the Klopp era at Anfield, and the midfielder’s shooting will go far in the 22-year-old cementing his legacy.

The Hungarian international’s reputation to strike a ball with quality from distance will come to the forefront sooner rather than later, and Szoboszlai knows he can make himself a Liverpool hero this season with this trait.

And if the youngster can mix this with a good relationship with Mac Allister, Liverpool have an unbelievable duo on their hands in the years to come.
