Kylian Mbappe has reportedly left PSG ‘infuriated’ by his refusal to engage in any deals to leave the club, with Liverpool rumoured to be interested.

According to journalist Duncan Castles, the French international will remain with PSG’s second-squad when the Ligue 1 champions resume training tomorrow, a group of players made up of transfer-listed names.

With Mbappe rejecting a world-record from Saudi Arabia, options are now limited for where the forward could move to this summer, with Liverpool’s name consistently in the rumour mill in regards to the French international.

Lauded as ‘world-class’ by Virgil van Dijk, Mbappe would be quite the addition for Liverpool if a deal could somehow be agreed between all parties involved.

However, after this latest update the odds of Mbappe joining Liverpool remain as small as ever, with the Anfield side unlikely to match anything the French striker will demand in terms of finances.

Mbappe to Liverpool remains as unlikely as last week

Mbappe to Liverpool links have somehow continued heading into August, with the Reds’ accounts seemingly being disregarded in any potential links to the PSG megastar.

With the forward now refusing to engage in any talks for a potential suitor, most likely any team not named Real Madrid, Liverpool remain the same on the 24-year-old as they have all summer.

Indeed, the French international would be an earth-shattering signing for Liverpool. But as long as Mbappe keeps his demands up, it’s unlikely that the attacker will be moving to Anfield this summer.
