Leeds United are reportedly still considering a move for Nat Phillips, with Liverpool open to selling the defender this summer.
According to Leeds Live, the Championship side are still keeping tabs on the 26-year-old, with Daniel Farke keen to sign another central defender having landed Ethan Ampadu from Chelsea this month.
Phillips has been linked with Leeds for most of the summer, but rumours have died down in recent weeks after the Whites’ acquisition of Ampadu. However, the Yorkshire side could now be back in for the Liverpool defender.

Phillips has earned cult-hero status at Liverpool after his performances for the club in the 2020/21 season, and a move to a massive club like Leeds would be deserving of the central defender.
And this update is an encouraging one for the Phillips’ future, who could become a superstar in the Championship if the Elland Road side can complete a transfer for the Liverpool man.

Lauded by Scott Parker as an ‘exceptional’ player, Phillips has the quality and the talent to make a real name for himself with Leeds, and a move to Elland Road could be perfect for the Bolton-born star.
Leeds could be the making of Phillips

Phillips’ time at Liverpool is clearly at an end, with Liverpool open to selling the defender after spending the majority of last season on the bench. And a move to Leeds could be the making for the centre-back.
Dropping down to the Championship might be unappealing for Phillips, but given the size of Leeds as a club and the likelihood the Whites return to the Premier League at the first attempt, a transfer could be perfect.
Indeed, the defender is good enough to make a name for himself at a major English side, and Leeds could give the defender the platform needed to succeed in the years to come.
