PSG are reportedly eager for Liverpool to open transfer talks with Kylian Mbappe, with the French superstar linked with a move to Anfield.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Ligue 1 giants are keen to find a solution for Mbappe via an English side, though the 24-year-old forward remains set on a move to Real Madrid.
Romano said: “From what I’m hearing, PSG would be very happy to find a solution with an English club. But at the moment, they still have the same feeling that Mbappe wants to go to Real Madrid and no other destination.”

Mbappe has been linked with a move to Liverpool this summer with the attacker’s situation at PSG yet to be resolved, with the forward last week rejecting a world-record move to Saudi Arabia.
Whilst staying in Europe is clearly Mbappe’s priority, the striker is seemingly uninterested in a move to the Premier League or Liverpool, with Madrid still the forward’s dream destination this summer.

Indeed, Liverpool were always going to struggle to sign Mbappe this window, and this latest update again confirms that the Reds are likely to miss out on the PSG star.
Liverpool need to distance themselves from Mbappe

Liverpool signing Mbappe remains as unlikely as it has done all summer, and the Reds need to now distance themselves from the French international following rumours in the last 48 hours.
Central midfield remains Liverpool’s transfer priority with Jordan Henderson and Fabinho both moving to Saudi Arabia, and signing Mbappe, whilst spectacular, would do little to help the Reds.
Moreover, the finances of such transfer would cripple Liverpool to an incredible extent, even if Mbappe is arguably the best player in the world at the moment.
