Liverpool have reportedly launched an audacious loan offer to sign PSG forward Kylian Mbappe, with the 24-year-old currently listed for transfer.

According to the Mirror, the Reds have made an attempt to bring the French international to Anfield for the summer, with PSG keen to offload Mbappe this summer amid interest from Real Madrid and Saudi Arabia.

The superstar forward has already turned down a world-record transfer to Al-Hilal, and there’s now a growing chance that PSG could allow Mbappe to leave the French capital on loan, with Liverpool interested.

The Anfield giants have been linked with Mbappe for the best part of five years, and whilst the chances remain small that the forward moves to Liverpool, this summer could be Jurgen Klopp’s best chance to sign the PSG striker.

Indeed, even without UEFA Champions League football, Mbappe could be drawn to Liverpool given how strongly the two parties have been linked over the last few seasons.

And with PSG eager to offload Mbappe, Liverpool’s loan offer could be appealing to the Ligue 1 giants, with the Frenchman also likely to consider the bid despite the implications such a deal could have on the forward’s career.

With Saudi Arabia off the table for Mbappe, Liverpool and the Premier League could be a serious option for the forward, yet it could still take some convincing the bring the striker to England this summer.

As we know, Mbappe is the best-paid player in Europe and won’t take likely to the idea of playing in the Europa League for one season, even with Liverpool being one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Yet this factor could be what allows Klopp to sign Mbappe, who could be turned by the prospect of playing for Liverpool if the loan offer is convincing enough.
