Ben Doak has lauded Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah as one of the best in the world after playing alongside the Egyptian earlier today against Leicester City in a pre-season friendly.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, the Scottish youth international was blown away by the 31-year-old Liverpool forward, with Doak scoring the Reds final goal in their 4-0 win against the Foxes.
Doak has impressed in Liverpool’s summer fixtures this pre-season, yet Salah has seemingly caught the Scotsman’s eye, with the superstar winger the dream mentor for the 17-year-old wonderkid.

With Liverpool in the UEFA Europa League next season, there’s a good chance that Doak will get regular minutes in Europe as Salah gets a midweek rest for upcoming Premier League fixtures.
And the teenager’s praise of Salah speaks a lot about how much Doak rates the former AS Roma man, with the Scottish youngster seemingly starstruck by featuring alongside the winger.
