Patrick Dorgu’s agent has teased that Liverpool are likely to make a bid for the 18-year-old defender, who has been linked with a move to Anfield for some time.
Speaking to SportItalia, agent Kingsley Ogbodo revealed that the Lecce fullback could soon be subject to an offer from Liverpool, with the Reds reportedly interested in signing Dorgu this summer.
Ogbodo said: “No, they (clubs) haven’t made any offers. But it is very likely that Liverpool will make one. I don’t know if it will happen, but they are interested and they like the player.”

Liverpool have taking it slow with youth recruitment this summer after a bid drive in previous windows to add to the academy, yet Dorgu could now be an exception for the Anfield side in the coming weeks.
A product of the famous FC Nordsjaelland academy, Dorgu only moved to Lecce last summer where he has exclusively played for the U-19s, making 38 appearances in total and scoring four goals.
And now, there is a good chance Liverpool could make a move for the Danish youngster, with Dorgu a talent who could add quite a lot of value to the Reds’ academy squad and potentially the senior team.
Dorgu could be worth the risk for Liverpool this summer

Lecce might be resigned to losing one of their key talents in Dorgu this summer, yet if an offer from Liverpool was to make it’s way to the Serie A side, an opportunity could be there for the defender to head to Anfield.
As we know, Liverpool are seemingly big fans of Dorgu and are excited by his potential, and a bid could soon be made to bring the Italian-based talent to Merseyside this summer.
With Dorgu yet to make a professional appearance for Lecce, it could also be quite a cheap deal for Liverpool, who are currently focused on signing a midfielder to replace Jordan Henderson and Fabinho.
