Romeo Lavia is reportedly waiting for a call from Liverpool, with the midfielder keen on moving to Anfield this summer.
According to La Derniere Heure, the Southampton star is patiently waiting to his agent to alert him about an offer from Liverpool, with the Reds likely to move for the £50m-rated teenager at some point this week.
Fabinho and Jordan Henderson’s moves to Saudi Arabia are expected to go through this week, bringing in a good amount of money for Liverpool to spend on replacement midfielders.

And Lavia is expected to be the prime candidate to succeed Fabinho at Liverpool, with the 19-year-old eager to move to Anfield once an offer has been made for the midfielder.
However, as per the report, Liverpool aren’t willing to match Southampton’s £50m valuation for Lavia, with the Saints trying to extract as much value as possible from the Belgian international.
Indeed, Southampton’s resolve will break eventually, and with Lavia now expecting a call from Liverpool, it could be only a matter of time before a move is finalised between all parties.
Liverpool could land Lavia at bargain price this summer

Southampton have stuck to their guns all summer over Lavia’s asking price, but when push comes to shove, the Saints could be willing to lower their demands for the midfielder, much to Liverpool’s pleasure.
As we know, Liverpool are interested in signing the 19-year-old yet are unwilling to match the £50m asking price. And Southamptom’s resolve can be tested with an opening offer from the Reds.
Making the first move will be key in Liverpool’s pursuit for Lavia, and an opening bid close enough to Southampton’s demands could be enough to secure the transfer for the Anfield side.
