PSG are reportedly ready to rival Liverpool for Cheick Doucoure, with the Crystal Palace midfielder attracting plenty of transfer interest in recent days.
According to the Evening Standard, the French champions want to add to their squad again this summer having already spent big on the likes of Manuel Ugarte and Lucas Hernandez, with Doucoure now wanted by PSG after a ‘superb’ season with Palace.
The 23-year-old joined the south London side last summer and was key in the Eagles retaining their Premier League status, with Liverpool now interested in signing Doucoure as a replacement for Fabinho and Jordan Henderson, who are both en-route to Saudi Arabia.

Doucoure earned plaudits last year for Palace, and with PSG now interested in the midfielder, Liverpool face a huge uphill battle to sign the Mali international, who is slowly turning into one of the most sought-after talents in the Premier League this window.
Indeed, with Liverpool desperately in need of a defensive midfielder, Doucoure could be an ideal signing for the Reds this summer. However, interest from PSG could now throw a massive wrench in the works, especially if Luis Enrique promises the youngster regular football.
PSG could realistically beat Liverpool to Doucoure this summer

Doucoure has quickly emerged as a top target for two of Europe’s biggest teams in Liverpool and PSG, and for the Reds, there’s now a good chance that they can miss out on the Palace star to the French giants if they can get their way.
A return to France with the biggest club in the country will be an appealing proposition for Doucoure. Moreover, for Liverpool, the prospect of UEFA Champions League football could sway the deal in PSG’s favour, with the Anfield side hopeless to match such an opportunity for next season.
