Jurgen Klopp praised Ben Doak in Liverpool training after the teenage winger finished off a move from fellow Scotsman Andy Robertson.
As heard in Liverpool’s Inside Training series, the German manager applauds the former Celtic attacker after connecting well with Robertson, with Klopp saying to Doak: “The present and future of Scotland. I can’t believe it!”
At 17-years-old, Doak is one of the youngest players to travel with Liverpool on their pre-season tour, with many fans expecting the attacker to feature prominently for Klopp’s side in games against Karlsruher SC and Greuther Furth.

With Liverpool competing in the UEFA Europa League, there’s a real chance that Doak can feature for Klopp’s senior side in Europe. And impressing in training and in pre-season matches will be key in the Scottish wonderkid catching the German manager’s eye.
Indeed, this latest training ground clip seems to confirm that Klopp is already a massive fan of Doak, and with the first summer friendlies taking place this week, Doak getting some minutes could be key in the forward staking a claim for himself ahead of the new season.
Doak can feature for Liverpool’s senior team next season under Klopp

With pre-season starting to truly heat up this week, Doak knows he has the opportunity of a lifetime to impress his Liverpool teammates and Klopp in training. And regular minutes this summer will be key in the winger getting a chance in the professional game in the new campaign.
As we know, the Europa League will see Klopp heavily rotate his side with the Premier League taking a priority this season. And for Doak, this means a strong chance of getting minutes in the first-team in Europe against some top opposition.
