Mohammed Salah has reportedly recommended Liverpool to sign Egyptian international Ibrahim Adel, who has been linked with a move to Anfield in the past.
According to journalist Graeme Bailey, the Liverpool superstar is a huge fan of the 22-year-old winger, who this summer is expected to make the move to Europe having established himself at Pyramids FC and alongside Salah for the Egypt national team.
Bailey said on Salah’s stance on Adel: “Mo Salah recommended him to Liverpool. He is one of the best young players in African football. He has been for a little while, he plays for Pyramids in Egypt, Mo Salah does like him and he recommended him to Liverpool.”

The Liverpool Echo reported last year that Liverpool were keeping tabs on Adel. However, it’s Chelsea who now seem the most likely side to land the African talent, with the Blues likely to send the winger out on loan to French side Strasbourg should they land the 22-year-old.
Indeed, a recommendation from Salah is quite the honour for a player as young as Adel. Yet with Chelsea now leading the charge for the attacker, Liverpool’s window of opportunity to sign the Pyramids talisman has now seemingly passed them by.
Liverpool could soon regret missing out on Adel after Salah plea

With Adel closing in on a move to Chelsea, Salah’s pleas seem to have done little in Liverpool’s own quest to sign the winger. Yet the decision could prove to be a painful one should the attacker take to European football like a duck to water.
As we know, Adel is one of the highest-rated players in Africa and is now ready to make the move from Egypt for the bright lights of the Premier League. And the youngster could make Liverpool regret their choice to not pursue the forward if the 22-year-old hits the ground running in Europe.
