Bayern Munich are reportedly actively trying to sell Ryan Gravenberch in order to raise funds to sign Harry Kane, with Liverpool interested in the Dutch midfielder.

According to Sky Sport Austria, the German giants have made the 21-year-old one of seven players Bayern are pushing to offload to help their pursuit for the England captain, with former Liverpool star Sadio Mane and another reported Reds target in Benjamin Pavard also up for sale.

Gravenberch has been heavily linked with a move away from Bavaria this summer, with Liverpool the club that have been the strongest reported side in signing the midfielder, who TuttoMercatoWeb claim could be sold this summer for £43m.

With Bayern now pushing to sell as much deadwood as possible to sign Kane, Liverpool could now have a golden chance to sign Gravenberch, who could become the Reds’ third and final midfield addition of the summer transfer window.

Indeed, with a deal for Romeo Lavia proving difficult to complete, Liverpool turning direction and pushing to sign Gravenberch could be an ideal alternative, especially if it helps Bayern land one of the Premier League’s most dangerous attackers in Kane.

Gravenberch has been on Liverpool’s radar for what feels like an eternity, yet with Bayern now pushing to sell the midfielder to help raise funds for Kane, Jurgen Klopp’s side could help play a part in a massive win-win for the club and their hopes of top-four.

As we know, Tottenham without Kane is untrodden territory for the north London side, yet many will agree that Spurs are less of a threat with the England captain not amongst their ranks, meaning Liverpool signing Gravenberch will both help them and weaken a direct Premier League rival.
