Dean Saunders has said Sadio Mane has struggled for form since leaving Liverpool for Bayern Munich, with the German giants now looking at selling the winger.
Speaking on TalkSport, the pundit suggested that the Senegal international has failed to live up to the heights Mane hit when at Liverpool, with the forward forming an incredible partnership with Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino in the attack.
With Mane moving to Bayern last summer in a £34m deal, many expected the Premier League and UEFA Champions League winner to become a sensation in Germany. However, the 31-year-old has struggled greatly in Bavaria, with rumours now suggesting that the attacker could quit Thomas Tuchel’s side.

Indeed, Mane’s time at Bayern has been disappointing. And for Saunders, a great player leaving their club where they have settled is sometimes doomed to fail. The TalkSport pundit said: “That’s an example of what happens when you move clubs.
“You could say he was in the Beatles with Salah and Firmino, that front-three were like the Beatles. You leave the Beatles and things just aren’t the same, you go and play with different players, and it’s not worked for Mane. Who would have thought Mane wouldn’t rip it up in Germany?”
Nobody could have predicted Mane to fall this hard after leaving Liverpool

Mane’s move to Bayern was once billed as the perfect swansong to what was an incredible career in the Premier League. Yet the winger’s time in Germany has been nothing short of disastrous, and an exit from Munich could now be on the cards for the former Liverpool hero.
With interest high, there’s a good chance that Mane will be on move in the coming weeks if a reasonable offer comes in for the attacker. And Liverpool fans will be wondering how such a nailed-on successful deal to Bayern went so wrong for the Senegal international.
