Fabinho names two Liverpool players he can’t wait to play with next season

Fabinho has hinted that he is excited to play with new Liverpool signings Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai, who will join the squad for pre-season next week.

Speaking to Liverpool’s official website, the Brazilian international revealed that the midfield duo will bring something to the position that the Reds have needed this summer, with a third recruit in the position expected from Jurgen Klopp.

Midfield was always going to be the most important area for Liverpool to add to this summer, and the Anfield side have done just that already in Mac Allister and Szoboszlai, two signings that have caused great excitement amongst the fanbase and the players.

And Fabinho is seemingly excited to play with his new teammates, with the midfielder saying: “We lost, I think, three midfield players that were really important for us in the last maybe five, six years. It’s good to bring some good players in that position because we will need [them].

“In the way we play, the intensity we play, we always need not just three or four but maybe six players in this position [in the squad]. So yes, it’s good to have these two players with us now. We played against them already, so we know how good they are. It’s good to have them in the team.”

Everyone and their mother was aware of what Liverpool had to do this summer if they’re to challenge for the Premier League next season, and the Reds have done just that, with Fabinho well within his right to get excited about what the new duo can bring the to squad.

As we know, Liverpool have been crying out for creativity in the midfield as well as players who can pose a threat to goal, and the Anfield giants signing Mac Allister and Szoboszlai solve both problems with ease, with he pair two incredible additions for Klopp’s squad.
