Thiago Alcantara has reportedly been in talks with Galatasaray officials, with the Turkish giants interested in signing the Liverpool superstar.
According to Fanatik, Gala vice-president Erden Timur has been in England to meet with the Spanish midfielder to discuss a potential transfer amid growing rumors that Thiago could now leave Anfield this summer, with Liverpool open to a sale.
With the Reds eager to sign a third central midfielder, Liverpool must first offload a number of senior players to raise funds for the transfer kitty, and Galatasaray’s interest in Thiago could be one big avenue in the Anfield side recouping some much-needed capital.

Earning a reported £225,000-a-week, Thiago leaving Liverpool will free up plenty of space on the payroll and give Jurgen Klopp the much-needed chance to replace the 32-year-old with a younger and more suitable player for the squad.
Indeed, whilst there are conflicting reports on whether or not Thiago even wants to leave Liverpool, Galatasaray could be an ideal destination for the midfielder, especially with the Turkish giants qualifying for next season’ UEFA Champions League.
Thiago to Galatasaray could be a dream move for all parties

Galatasaray being back in Europe’s elite will be a big selling point for the Istanbul-based side in their bid to add to the squad this summer, and Thiago could be interested in a move to Turkey if an offer is submitted for the Liverpool superstar.
As we know, Liverpool could accept a bid if proven good enough for Thiago. And with Galatasaray in the Champions League, the former Bayern Munich man could be willing to make the move out east if given assurances he will be a regular for the side.
