Noni Madueke has said publically that he will being Levi Colwill with him back to Chelsea amid reports that Liverpool are interested in the centre-back.
Speaking on the defender’s Instagram Live via Ben Jacobs, the £29m winger urged his Chelsea teammate to come back with him to west London, with Colwill subject to transfer interest from Liverpool as the 20-year-old looks to decide his future this summer.
As reported by Football London, Liverpool have made two approaches for Colwill in recent weeks as Jurgen Klopp looks to recruit a left-sided centre-back as part of his summer rebuild. Yet the Chelsea defender has proven a difficult target to pursue.
Indeed, Chelsea are reluctant to sell Colwill despite his future at the club still being up in the air. And Madueke’s latest comments to the defender could only muddle things for Liverpool, who might now not be so sure that a deal can be concluded this summer.

Colwill to Liverpool has felt like a transfer that has been around for what feels like years, yet the rumour has to come to a head eventually, and the Reds will be wise to make an official move in the coming weeks to lure the 20-year-old away from Chelsea.
As we know, Colwill wants to be a regular for a top club next season. And with Chelsea yet to even decide what they want from the defender, Liverpool can use the window of opportunity to launch a bid for the England youth international, who could be keen on Anfield.
