Sergio Aguero has named former Liverpool attacker Luis Suarez as one of the three best centre-forwards in history, alongside Thierry Henry and the Brazilian Ronaldo.
Speaking on his Twitch channel, the retired Argentine forward surprisingly named the Uruguay international as one of the three best strikers to ever play the game, with Aguero omitting some major names from his list, namely Cristiano Ronaldo and arguably Lionel Messi.
Aguero said when asked: “Who are the three best centre-forwards in history? Ronaldo Nazario, Thierry Henry and Luis Suarez. In that order.”

With Aguero a City legend and former Argentine forward, it is quite the surprise that the South American picked a Premier League and international rival in Suarez as one of his three best centre-forwards of all time, especially given the competition that is also out there for such an accolade.
Indeed, Suarez on his day was on of the most lethal attackers in the world. And for Aguero, the 35-year-old is seemingly a big fan of what the now-Gremio striker has done in his career with the likes of Liverpool and FC Barcelona.
Aguero’s praise for Suarez shows how good the former Liverpool man was

Aguero knows better than anyone the skill and talent it takes for a striker to become truly world-class, and Suarez is easily one of the best centre-forwards to play the game in the 21st century, with the former Liverpool man a hitman in the purest sense when in form.
And the Argentine’s praise for Suarez is a massive testament to just good and arguably underrated the Uruguayan icon is, with the striker a key reason why Liverpool almost won the 2013/14 Premier League title with his insane tally of 31 goals in 33 games.
