Fenerbahce are reportedly interested in signing Thiago Alcantara, with the Liverpool midfielder rumoured with an exit from Anfield this summer.
According to journalist Neil Jones, the Turkish giants are one of many clubs keeping tabs on the Spanish international, with Thiago potentially on the move if a suitable offer is made to Liverpool for the 32-year-old maestro.
Earning a reported £225,000-a-week, Thiago is one of Liverpool’s highest-earners. Yet with Jurgen Klopp’s squad going through something of a soft reset this summer, offloading the former Bayern Munich player could be an appealing option for the Reds.

With Fenerbahce now interested and likely to splurge on a superstar European, Thiago could be an ideal candidate to fill such a quote for the Istanbul-based side. And Liverpool could now be hoping that the Turkish club make an approach for the midfielder.
Indeed, Thiago himself might not be open on a move to Turkey at this stage of his career. However, with Liverpool seemingly open to selling the midfielder and Fenerbahce now interested, discussions over an exit could be on the cards if the Spaniard can be sold on the move.
Liverpool have to do all they can to sell Thiago to Fenerbahce

Offloading a player like Thiago will have its issues for Liverpool, especially with how much the midfielder earns. And as a result, the Reds will have to do as much as they can to move the 32-year-old on, with Fenerbahce seemingly interested in signing the Spanish international.
As we know, Liverpool could be better off selling a high-earner like Thiago as they look to evolve their squad beyond Klopp’s last great inventions. And a move to Fenerbahce could be beneficial to all parties if the Reds are able to convince their midfielder to accept the move.
