Caoimhin Kelleher could reportedly struggle to find a new club this summer, with the Liverpool keeper likely to find options limited in becoming first-choice away from Anfield.
According to the Atheltic, the Republic of Ireland international is keen to move on from Merseyside in order to become a starting keeper having spent the last few seasons as a backup option to Alisson Becker. However, there are few clubs actively looking for a new no. 1.
The likes of Brentford and Tottenham have signed goalkeepers already this summer, and whilst some Premier League sides such as Brighton & Hove Albion and Crystal Palace are on the hunt for a starting shot-stopper, nothing in the media has suggested that these clubs want to sign Kelleher.

As a result, the £20m-rated talent is stuck in limbo at Liverpool, with Kelleher likely to remain at Anfield for pre-season as well as the start of the new term, a prospect that the Irishman would ideally like to avoid ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.
Indeed, Kelleher finds himself in a difficult position as the summer transfer window continues to pass by. And unless Liverpool do something to help the 24-year-old find a new club, there’s a real chance that the Cork-born keeper will again be sat on the bench next season as Alisson’s understudy.
Liverpool owe it to Kelleher to get him a permanent move this summer

Kelleher has been a fundamental part of Liverpool’s success in recent years as Alisson’s backup. And with the keeper now ready to move on from Anfield to forge a career of his own, the Reds owe it to the Irish international to secure him a move.
As we know, Kelleher is too good to spend another year on the bench, and with clubs out there in need of a new starting keeper, the Liverpool talent could be ideal for numerous sides if the Reds themselves help with a potential summer move in the coming weeks.
