RB Leipzig will reportedly announce today that they’ve completed the signing of Liverpool talent Fabio Carvalho on loan for the season.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Portuguese youngster is in Germany now to complete his medical with the Bundesliga side, with Leipzig now expected to confirm at some point today that Carvalho has officially joined the club on loan.
Carvalho has been subject to plenty of interest this summer after it was revealed that the 20-year-old was open to leaving Liverpool to play regular minutes elsewhere. And it is Leipzig who have won the winger’s signature in what could be quite a coup for the Saxony giants.
Lauded as ‘special’ by Harvey Elliott, Carvalho is one of Liverpool’s most exciting talents and a player who could become a regular for the Reds in the years to come. And this loan move to Leipzig could be the catalyst that unlocks the youngster’s limitless potential.

It’s fair to say Carvalho didn’t get a fair shot at Liverpool last season. Yet given his age, the former Fulham star has plenty of time ahead of him to establish his presence with the Anfield giants, and that can begin next session with Leipzig in the Bundesliga.
