Fabio Carvalho will reportedly fly out of England this week to Germany to complete a season-long loan move to RB Leipzig, with Liverpool set to announce the deal soon.

According to Fabrizio Romano the Portuguese youth international will jet out this week for his medical with the Bundesliga club ahead of a loan move to Leipzig, with the youngster expected to become a regular for the German side next campaign.

Carvalho endured a difficult first year at Liverpool having signed from Fulham last summer. However, the Reds have moved quickly this window to send the winger out on loan, with Leipzig a club with a proven track record of developing young players.

As per Romano, Liverpool have also managed to negotiate with Leipzig the absence of a buy-option in his loan contract, a decision that will please many supporters given how exciting the former Fulham star is and how big his future could potentially be at Anfield.

Carvalho has shown flashes of brilliance at Liverpool despite a disappointing year with the Reds. Yet the forward now has the chance to prove his worth out in Germany with Leipzig, where the youngster can easily become a superstar if given the right amount of playing time in the correct system.

As we know, Carvalho is one of Liverpool’s most promising players. And although his first season with the club didn’t go to plan, there’s still plenty of time for the 20-year-old to hit his true potential, something that could be reached out on loan with Leipzig next year.
