Leeds United are reportedly interested in signing Nat Phillips, with the Liverpool defender expected to leave Anfield for good this summer.
According to the Athletic, the recently relegated Premier League side are keen on bringing the 26-year-old centre-back to Elland Road this summer, with Leeds’ interest in Phillips believed to be irrespective of who the Whites appoint as their next head coach.
As per the report, Liverpool are open to selling Phillips this summer for as little as £10m after making just five appearances for the Reds last season. Though despite this, the defender remains a fan favourite with the Anfield support.

Lauded as ‘incredible’ by Jurgen Klopp, Phillips was instrumental for Liverpool in the 2020/21 season that saw the Merseyside giants qualify for top-four despite an injury crisis that saw the defender make his debut for the Reds alongside Rhys Williams.
Indeed, Phillips will always hold special place for Liverpool fans, yet a move this summer is more than what the defender deserves, with a move to Leeds a perfect next step for the 26-year-old, who could be outstanding in the Championship.
Phillips could become a superstar for Leeds next season

Phillips is more than good enough to play for a Premier League side. Yet with a team as big as Leeds now interested in the defender, the Bolton-born centre-back now has the chance to become a key part of something great, with the Whites an early favourite for the Championship title next season.
Although some Liverpool fans will want Phillips to stick around for depth, there’s no denying that this summer is the perfect time for the defender to end his time on Merseyside and head out on his own in football, with Leeds a dream move for any English player looking to forge something for themselves in the game.
