Liverpool goalkeeper Vitezslav Jaros has been lauded for his recent performances at the U-21 Euros, where the Czech youngster has caught headlines this summer.

The Athletic were full of praise for the Liverpool shot-stopper as Jaros impressed against Germany, with the ‘terrific’ 21-year-old playing a pivotal role in a 2-1 win against the European powerhouses that has since earnt the Anfield talent rave reviews.

Jaros spent last season out on loan at Stockport County, and although the youngster made just 13 appearances for the League Two side, there’s an expectation that the Czech Republic prospect will again leave Liverpool for the year to gain valuable first-team minutes.

And Jaros’ time in Georgia and Romania this summer could prove to be key in his future this window, with the keeper establishing himself as one of the best players between the sticks at the competition after his performance against Germany.

Indeed, with Alisson Becker Liverpool’s clear no.1 and Caoimhin Kelleher expected to feature in the UEFA Europa League, Jaros leaving Anfield on loan could be the right move for the 21-year-old. And interest could now be high after the U-21 Euros are finished.

Goalkeepers who play regularly at a top level from an early age are usually the players who go on to enjoy successful careers, and for Liverpool, they will be hopeful that Jaros will attract a first-division suitor to take him on loan for the upcoming season.

Whilst the Czech talent didn’t feature too much for Stockport last season, Jaros is proving this summer that he has the potential to become a top goalkeeper at the right club, and performances at the U-21 Euros could be key in securing the 21-year-old’s next loan move.
