Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is reportedly the latest superstar player to be targeted by Saudi Arabia, with the former Liverpool man being eyed alongside Roberto Firmino.
According to the Daily Mail, the 29-year-old midfielder is now a target for some clubs in Saudi Arabia as Oxlade-Chamberlain looks to decide on his next destination, with the Anfield favourite now a free agent having left Liverpool at the end of his contract.
The former Arsenal star has been tentatively linked with some Premier League clubs. However, Saudi Arabia have now entered the ring for Oxlade-Chamberlain, and a mega-money offer could convince the England international to make the move to the Middle East.

Should such a move happen, Oxlade-Chamberlain will become the first Three Lions star to play in Saudi Arabia, a move that could open the floodgates for English and British players to make the move east to play alongside the likes of Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo and Ruben Neves.
Indeed, Oxlade-Chamberlain could also be joined by his former Liverpool teammate Firmino, who according to Ben Jacobs is now in talks to sign for Al-Ahli, one of four Saudi Arabia clubs recently bought by the country’s Public Investment Fund.
Oxlade-Chamberlain and Firmino are too good for Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia has become the big story of the transfer window this summer, and whilst the Kingdom are far from done with their push to recruit football’s biggest and best names, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Firmino should both know they are far too good for a move out east.
As we know, the pair were regulars for Liverpool in the last few seasons, and whilst the payday could be life-changing, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Firmino know that they both still have unfinished business left in Premier League and in Europe, where they would be regulars at top sides.
